If you are experiencing pain or stiffness, the chances are physiotherapy can help you. It will restore movement and function that is often lost when other areas of your body are compensating for an injury or dysfunction.
Physiotherapy is used to treat a range of conditions, from back and neck pain – including whiplash – to sciatica, and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ) and jaw discomfort, to sports injuries.
What to expect at Back2Balance
During your initial 30-minute consultation, the physiotherapist will take a full-detailed history of your symptoms followed by a physical examination. They will then make a diagnosis and discuss a treatment plan with you, advising on an estimated recovery time and the number of follow-up sessions you are likely to need. Follow-up appointments last 30 minutes.
Our experienced therapists will use manual therapy to ease your symptoms, combined with tailored exercises to strengthen muscles and improve mobility. In some cases, acupuncture is used in conjunction with physiotherapy, particularly when a patient is experiencing pain.
Here at the clinic we continue to evaluate and keep up to date with new research and evidence to ensure we are providing latest techniques.
We aim to ensure effective recovery in the quickest possible time, to enable you to resume your normal activities. But we also believe that it is important for patients to be able to manage their conditions and stay symptom free – well beyond their time in the treatment room. As well as carrying out physical treatment, practitioners will provide advice and guidance on posture and good health.
Physiotherapy costs £42.50 for a 30-minute session.

“I came to see Karen with pain in my right hamstring. Within three appointments the issue was diagnosed, I was given exercises to carry out and the problem was resolved. I would have no hesitation in recommending Back2Balance. The service was excellent.”
